Introducing the Now Unlimited Team



Jane Mellor: Jane not only brings to Now Unlimited a wealth of knowledge and experience in both accountancy and business management. Jane has a fascination for business and systems and this, along with her bubbly personality, is invaluable as the business moves forward.

Declan Hill: Declan is a stand-up comedian and co-producer of The Sitcom Mission: an international sitcom writing competition. Declan’s skills in writing and editing, and his wicked sense of humour, help us work creatively.

Maureen O’Callaghan: Maureen’s brings to Now Unlimited her vast knowledge of personal and organisational development and a commitment to making mindfulness-based approaches relevant and accessible to everyone.


The Support Team

Luis Retamel: Luis is our researcher and developmental lead. He is a PhD student in Occupational Health – Psychology and Management at Nottingham University with a Masters in Organisational and Personnel Psychology and experience of working in Europe and South America. He brings to the Team a robustness to our research and impact measurement.

Janet Mountain: Janet volunteers her skills in accounting and book keeping which ensures that our accounts are accurate and up to date and we are able to meet the reporting requirements of funders.

Sarah Spencer: Sarah’s organisational skills ensure that the Now Unlimited office runs smoothly.  Sarah is often the first person people come into contact with and her warm and efficient manner help to ensure that people’s first impression is a positive one.

Nick Hare: Nick is a qualified graphic designer with a background in technical publications. His creativity and design skills have been instrumental in developing the Now Unlimited branding and ensuring our course materials and website are attractive and accessible.

Suzanne Fysh: Suzanne brings to the Team a solid background in project management and a wealth of experience in researching funding opportunities and producing grant applications.


The Delivery Team



Liz Castle – Mindfulness Intern and Mentoring Lead

Liz brings to the Team a wealth of experience in developing and delivering career and personal development courses. She also has experience of developing and delivering mentoring programmes and works as an External Assessor for the Mentoring and Befriending Foundation. She is currently working towards a Psychology Degree with the Open University.

Maureen O’Callaghan – Mindfulness Lead Teacher, Mental Health, Adult and Community Learning and Youth Work Lead

Maureen brings to the Team a skills, knowledge and experience in working locally, nationally and internationally with children and young people as service lead, researcher and consultant.  She also brings experience or working with adults in community and work-based learning.  She is in her final year of an MSc in Mindfulness-Based Approaches.

Maxine Crowson – Mindfulness Teacher and Education Lead

Maxine worked in education for more than 30 years which included a number of years as head teacher.  She brings to the Team not only an in depth understanding of teaching and learning within schools but also invaluable insights into the pressures and challenges faced by those working in the sector.

Pravin Navekar – Mindfulness Teacher and Health and Social Care Lead

Pravin is a professionally qualified & experienced social worker with expertise in Equality and Diversity & Adult Social Care training & consultancy.   He brings to the Team over 20 years experience of working within Local Authorities, NHS, Private & Third Sector organisations.

Suzanne Fysh – Mindfulness Teacher and Community Development Lead

Suzanne worked in the areas of community development and regeneration and  brings to the Team a wealth of knowledge and experience of community engagement and consultation and community profiling in order to develop effective responses.
